5M supports all paratransit service models—in-house and contracted operations, one or multiple service providers (zoned or unzoned), call and control center and brokerage contractors, and systems that use taxis and other non-dedicated service providers.

Reservations

With 5M's innovative algorithm, customers can choose confirmed pick-up times instantly without pre-scheduling trips. Results include shorter call times, more shared rides, and an enhanced customer experience with our fast and trackable scheduling process.

Customer Self-Servicing

Customers can book directly and access ETA information from any internet-connected device. Our state-of-the-art Mobile Rider Assistant (MRA) software simplifies the booking process and offers a choice of confirmed pick-up times.

Scheduling

5M's scheduling algorithm predicts travel speeds based on day, time, and direction, continuously learning with each new day of travel. No guessing or tinkering is required. It supports zoned and unzoned service providers, offers trip priority, and generates optimized routes and clusters.

Dispatching

We trust our state-of-the-art 5M system to track our vehicles in real-time, allowing our dispatchers and operations staff to monitor traffic patterns and other factors that may affect our service.

Mobile Driver Assistant

5M's Mobile Driver Assistant (MDA) enhances data accuracy with step-by-step instructions, reminders, and proximity alerts for drivers. MDA also automates activity progression, and provides real-time configurable call-outs/texts, benefiting both customers and their contacts.

Operations Monitoring

Operations Monitoring Console (OMC) allows agency staff and service provider managers access to live statistics on on-time performance, completed and pending trips, and current alerts. Real-time data showcases the percentage of on-time and late trips for any fleet or run(s), including lateness levels.

Reporting & Analytics

5M provides comprehensive reports for assessing service performance and trends. Reports cover essential data, distinguishing between valid and invalid no-shows. Customize reports by provider, fleet, driver, customer, and date range, with sortable, graphable, and exportable options.

Dispatch

With 5M’s dispatching algorithm utilizing Google Maps, dispatchers benefit from accurate solutions and real-time ETAs based on traffic conditions. The dual-monitor dispatch workstation enhances efficiency by displaying and prioritizing alerts and pending trips, while the interactive system maps and tools make managing unassigned trips, pending events, and high-priority alerts effortless. Real-time vehicle location and traffic data, along with in-vehicle tablets collecting service performance data, further improve ETA accuracy for dispatchers.

This enables us to make real-time adjustments to our schedules, ensuring that our vehicles are always on time and that our passengers arrive at their destinations safely and efficiently.

Our dispatchers work closely with our drivers to ensure that they are following the most efficient routes and avoiding any potential delays or obstacles. This allows us to provide our passengers with reliable and efficient transportation services.

Next Day Reservations

5M’s trip-matching and demand-balancing algorithm offers customers instant confirmed pick-up times during booking, optimizing service without pre-scheduled trips. If no matches are available, alternate times are provided to balance demand, resulting in shorter call times, more shared rides, and increased productivity.

Confirmed pick-up times are honored throughout the scheduling process, enhancing the customer experience, while all changes to trips and service data are fully trackable.
